Mission

MISSION
The Mission of the African-American Ethnic Hall of Fame is to broaden
the public’s understanding of African American/Ethnic history and the
role of diversity and cultural tolerance in the growth of professional
sports. The Hall of Fame gives the world the opportunity to better
understand the impact African American and other ethnic groups
throughout the world have had on American sports and society.
VISION
The vision of the African-American Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame is to enrich,
enlighten and educate our young people while honoring our true heroes from the
past. Our purpose is to give deserving students the chance for an education they
otherwise might not have, and to prepare our young people to do tomorrow what
our heroes did yesterday.
