Arif Khatib – President & Founder
For the past forty-five years I have sought to serve my community in both a professional and personal capacity. Professionally, I have owned a record label, artist management and publishing company, credit evaluation company, and general real estate practice, among other endeavors.
My resume of experiences has created the person you see today: I have been involved in the development and implementation of minority and women’s business enterprises, and business consultation; A licensed Real Estate Broker specializing in providing personal service to professional Athletes, and professional Entertainers; A personal Consultant and Advisor to local and national Politicians, providing them with management and career development counseling.
In addition, I have been a participant, Consultant and Teacher in labor union activity and management; A staff member for career training and labor management at the Institute of Industrial Relations, University of California at Berkeley. A Consultant for the Oakland Federal Building Project, The Department of Labor on affirmative action; A Consultant to the City of Oakland Convention Authority and to the Arkansas Black Mayors Association; An Entrepreneur in the Spanish speaking community, where I owned a restaurant.
I am a man who leads by example and who is not driven by self, but driven to help others. I sit on several boards including: Pacific Gas & Electric Community Advisory Board, USANA Health Sciences Sports Advisory Board, Colored Hockey League of Canada, and I Want That Channel, among others. Finally, and perhaps most Importantly, I have endeavored to use these contacts and experiences to enhance the viability of the under privileged.
